Industrial 5G is best understood where it creates value: in real industrial environments. The 5G-ACIA Demo Day Aachen 2026 invites industrial end users, technology providers, researchers, and decision-makers to experience industrial 5G and 5G-Advanced in action.
Unlike a traditional conference, the Demo Day focuses on practical experience. Live demonstrations, guided shopfloor tours, and interactive workshops will provide first-hand insights into how wireless connectivity can support manufacturing, logistics, robotics, construction, and industrial automation.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Experience industrial 5G applications in a realistic production environment
- See connected machinery, sensor solutions, and mobile robots in operation
- Explore private 5G, RedCap, mmWave, AI, edge, and cybersecurity applications
- Discuss implementation requirements and practical challenges with experts
- Exchange experiences with industrial end users and technology providers
A unique industrial environment
The event will take place at the 5G-Industry Campus Europe in Aachen, one of Europe’s most advanced environments for testing and validating industrial wireless technologies.
Its infrastructure includes private 5G Standalone networks, 5G-Advanced capabilities with RedCap support, dedicated mmWave infrastructure, and more than 5,000 m² of shopfloor space equipped with production machinery, automation systems, sensors, and mobile robots. Indoor and outdoor areas, including an industrial construction site, make it possible to explore a broad range of real-world applications.
Organized by 5G-ACIA together with the InnoNT+ User Center ProConnect, the event brings together practical demonstrations, expert insights, and direct exchange within the industrial wireless ecosystem.
