Digital twins will be one of the key enablers for highly flexible factories including new supply chain applications. The main technical feature behind so called “Industry 4.0” concepts is a way to interoperability across the solutions of different vendors as well as the communication network vendors because 5G networks will be the informational backbone of factories of the future. 5G-ACIA has published a white paper that describes an integration concept for 5G networks using digital twin following the ideas of the “Platform Industry 4.0” and send the result as input to the Standardization of AAS (Asset
