The SPS will once again be opening its doors in Nuremberg from 14-16 November 2023.
With its unique concept, the SPS covers the entire spectrum of smart and digital automation – from simple sensors to intelligent solutions, from what is feasible today to the vision of a comprehensively digitized industrial world. The focus is always on practical solutions for all areas of work, no matter how specific. At the SPS, you will find the answers to your current questions as well as solution approaches for the challenges of tomorrow.
5G-ACIA will contribute as well:
Wednesday, 15th November 2023 | 15:50-16:35 CET:
- Taking Industrial 5G from Theory to Practice
Wireless communication, especially 5G, is essential for the smart factory and more generally for Industry 4.0 as it enables seamless, ubiquitous and scalable connectivity between machines, people and sensors, as well as with mobile units such as mobile robots, automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and drones . 5G also makes it possible in many cases to reduce or even remove the cables of stationary, rotating and other objects with limited mobility. The General Chair of the 5G Alliance for Connected Industries and Automation (5G-ACIA) provides an insight into where we are on the road to Industrial 5G.
Speaker: Dr. Andreas Mueller (5G-ACIA General Chair, Bosch)
5G-ACIA : Hall 3, Booth 331
